We took a nature walk to see if we could find any signs of Spring! We found buds on the trees that would open up to become new leafs. We found bugs flying around now that it is warm enough for them to come out. Finally, we found some blooming flowers, daffodils, right outside our classroom. We used our magnifying glasses to see tiny things and collected some rocks, pine cones, and sticks along the way. It was a beautiful walk!
Our preschoolers brought their Dads to our Daddy and Me Sports Night and the night was full of energy! They played soccer games, ate great snacks, and decorated photo frames with a picture of dad and preschooler. We don't get a chance to celebrate Father's Day during the school year so we make sure that we set aside a special event just for him. The night was a hit and enjoyed by all!
If your preschooler attends our afternoon class then you have probably heard about Mr Noah. Mr Noah is our Teaching Academy Intern for this semester of his high school year. He loves to spend time with the preschoolers and brings a lot of energy to our gym time. Our classroom is a better place because of incredible high school students like Mr Noah. We are very glad to be a part Skyline High School and benefit greatly!
We read the story Wacky Wednesday and we had a WACKY day! We colored under the table, noticed shirts, socks, and shorts stuck to the wall, and played a fun game of rhyming BINGO!
We transformed our dramatic play area to a flower shop! We practiced the roles of a customer, clerk, florist, and delivery. It was the cutest thing ever!
